Our History
​Established in 1988 as Corporate Counselling Services in Luxembourg, Sustainable Health Management is an international management and holding company that focuses on mental health services services in Europe, the Middle East and the rest of the world. Its core holdings are leading mental healthcare services and tools.

Meet Our Team
Konstantin von Vietinghoff-Scheel
Founder & CEO
Konstantin is a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and chairs the "Occupational Health & Safety" committee at the European Business Association in Moscow. He holds an MSc in Clinical Psychology from Brussels University, a Certificate in Human Resource Management, and is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional. Fluent in German, English, French, and Dutch, he has over 12 years of experience in strategic development, consulting, and training across various countries, including the Middle East. He has worked with the Center for Creative Leadership, Duke Corporate Education, and major law firms on leadership development. As the leader of SHM, he oversees a team of several hundred professionals operating in 27 countries.
Alexandru Manescu
COO & Chief Clinician
Alexandru holds two bachelor’s degrees in Management and Psychology, a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, one in Health Institutions Management, and an MBA. He has over 20 years of experience in both the public and private health sectors, with significant contributions to academia and research.
For more than 17 years, he has driven strategic development and international expansion at SHM. As SHM’s Chief Clinician, he leads a team of senior clinicians responsible for ensuring clinical governance and best practices across a network of over 2,000 professionals.
Alexandru also plays a key role in digitalization efforts, creating tools that integrate cutting-edge technology into mental health care. Additionally, he served as Executive Board Director of the Employee Assistance European Forum for four years and has been president of the Romanian Association for Mental Health for over a decade.
